TIFFIN, Ohio – The Tiffin University men's cross country team delivered a commanding performance in its season opener Friday evening, sweeping the top seven positions and posting a near-perfect score of 15 points to win the Tiffin XC Open. The Dragons finished well ahead of Ursuline University and The College of Wooster, while freshman
Nathan Eminian led the pack with the individual title.
The Dragons' dominance was evident from the opening gun as freshman
Nathan Eminian led a sweep of the top seven positions, capturing the individual title in 15:49.7. He was followed closely by junior
Liam Stone (15:50.0), sophomore
Scott Temple (15:50.0), junior
Gabe Douce (15:50.1), and junior
Gauthier Simon (15:50.1) to complete the scoring five.

Ashton Vent rounded out the Dragon sweep of the top seven, both crossing the finish line in 15:50.2. Remarkably, Tiffin's top seven runners were separated by just five-tenths of a second.
Additional strong performances came from junior
Harry Forman Wilshaw, who placed eighth overall in 15:56.3, and sophomore
Joey Clabaugh, who finished ninth in 15:56.9. Freshman
Karter Boggs also cracked the top 10, taking 10th in 15:58.1.

The victory completed a sweep of the team titles for Tiffin, as both the men's and women's squads opened the 2026 campaign by winning the home meet. The 'Gons will return to action hosting the G-MAC Preview Meet at Hedges Boyer Park on Friday, September 25 at 6:45 p.m.
