TIFFIN, Ohio – Football running back Ronald Blackman and women's soccer goalkeeper Gianna Parmentier have earned G-MAC Athlete of the Week honors.
Blackman, the fifth year running back, opened the season in explosive fashion by rushing for 144 yards and two touchdowns in Tiffin's season-opening three-point loss at Carson-Newman. Blackman also eclipsed the 3,000-career rushing yard mark in the first quarter and averaged 5.4 yards per carry, highlighted by a 54-yard run.
In her first two collegiate games, Parmentier went 1-0-1 in goal and made seven saves across 176:11 for a save percentage of 77.8, helping guide the Dragons to a 1-0-1 start.
