Tiffin University (33-12) opened the G-MAC Tournament with a bang, pounding out 17 hits en route to a 15-0 rout of Cedarville.

The Dragons scored 5 in the first and 8 in the second to run away with the game early. 

Ella Esterby got the win, allowing just 3 hits over 5 innings with 3 strikeouts.

In the first, McKenna Scott singled and moved to third on a single by Tori McPherson. A double steal brought Scott home for the first run. Jessica Miller then singled for another RBI. With two on and two out, Molly Koesters then doubled down the right field line for two more runs. An error at shortstop then allowed the final run of the frame as TU took a 5-0 lead.

In the second, Scott singled and stole second. McPherson then singled her home. A hit by pitch to Miller and a single by Tara Gall loaded the bases. Macy Brazelton then slammed a grand slam to right center to make the score 10-0. Koesters followed with a solo shot. Reagan Mengerink singled, and pinch runner Tori Abel moved to second on a sacrifice. Scott then doubled for an RBI in her second at-bat of the inning. McPherson's single moved Scott to third base, and she subsequently stole home. 

In the fourth, Lexi Key doubled. Scott then got her fourth hit of the day with a single that scored pinch runner Gwen McMenemy. After Marina Koenig reached on a fielder's choice, Miller blasted a double to left center that brought Koenig around to score the game's final run.

Tiffin will now face the winner of Findlay-Hillsdale at 2 pm on April 30.
