Tiffin University (23-9, 13-1 G-MAC) kept its hot streak going, winning its 10th in a row with 7-0 and 13-1 wins at Kentucky Wesleyan.
Ella Esterby got the win in game one, allowing just 2 hits over 7 innings with 7 strikeouts in the complete game shutout.
The Dragons did the main damage in the sixth inning when they tallied 5 runs.
Tiffin opened scoring in the 2nd inning. A double by
Tara Gall followed by singles to Esterby and
Jadyn Bassi loaded the bases.
Gwen McMenemy then walked to plate one run.
In the fourth, a double by
Reagan Mengerink followed by a single by McMenemy and a walk to
McKenna Scott loaded the bases.
Tori McPherson wsa then hit by a pitch for another run.
Tiffin broke through in a big way in the sixth. Bassi opened with a double. A single by McMenemy moved Bassi to third, and she subsequently scored on a throwing error by the catcher. After a Scott single, McPherson singled to drive in a run. With runners on second and third,
Macy Brazelton then singled to drive in another run. A double steal brought
Mackenzie Dietrick, and a double by Gall pushed
Ryan Wallace across the plate for the final run.
Gall led the way with 3 hits while five total Dragons had multiple hits in the game.
In game two, the Dragons wasted no time cranking up the offense as they scored 7 runs in the first inning and 5 in the second.

In the first, McPherson doubled and scored on Jessica MIller's triple. Gall then singled to make it 2-0. Walks to
Molly Koesters and Esterby loaded the bases. Mengerink then singled for an RBI. With two outs, McMenemy singled for two runs, and Scott singled to drive in two more runs.
In the second, Koesters opened with a double and then scored on Esterby's double. A Bassi single moved Esterby to third, and she then scored on a double steal of second and home. A McMenemy single led to a two-run triple by McPherson, and she then scored when Miller singled to left field.
Tiffin got its final run in the fourth. With two outs, Brazelton drilled a home run to left field.
Lexi Key improved to 13-3 with the pitching victory. She allowed 2 hits in four innings, fanning 7.
Scylea Zolman finished with an inning of work, allowing no earned runs on two hits.
