Tiffin University (4-5, 2-3 G-MAC) could not keep pace with 9th-ranked Seton Hill, falling 23-7 on the road.
The Dragons stayed with Seton Hill in the opening minutes as goals by
Aiden Criteser and
Cole Mack gave TU an early 2-0 lead. The Griffins responded by scoring 12 unanswered goals and not allowing another first half goal to TU until
Matthew Nunnaro scored with 3:57 left in the half.
Leading 12-3 at the half, Seton Hill held a 28-13 shot advantage along with a 21-9 ground ball lead. They also forced 14 TU turnovers while committing just 4 of their own.
Tiffin got more scoring in the second half from Criteser, Mack, and Nunnaro but it wasn't nearly enough to keep pace with the Griffins.
Overall Seton Hill had a 53-26 shot advantage including 38-15 on goal. They held a 42-17 ground ball lead and won the faceoff battle 23-10.Â
