Tiffin University baseball (0-3) led 4-3 going into the bottom of the eighth inning but could not hang on as the Flames rallied for one run each in the eighth and ninth to win the third and final game of the series 5-4 on Sunday afternoon. 

The Flames got one run off TU starter Trent Hedges to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning. That remained the score until the fourth inning when Dylan Ruhe started a rally with a one-out single. Ruhe then came around to score on an RBI double by Griff Cady and Cady would then score on an RBI single by Brayden Clark.  

A two-out bases loaded walk thrown by Brock Polilli allowed the Flames to tie it. Cady gave the Dragons the lead back on another RBI hit in the sixth to make it 4-3 but the Dragons squandered a chance at more in the inning as two were left on base.  

A Julian Hernandez solo home run made it 5-3 but a timely error in the eighth by Hernandez allowed Lee to plate an unearned run. 

The Dragons looked to push it into extras, but Lee had other plans with the Flames walking it off in the bottom of the ninth. Brett Madison walked the leadoff man and another walk and hit by pitch loaded the bases. Madison then walked the next batter to give the Flames a walk off on a walk. 

Madison (0-1) took the loss on the mound throwing 1.1 innings with five walks which proved costly.  

Mason Brunecz and Billy Skripac recorded scoreless outings.  

Ruhe and Cady both had two hits to lead the way offensively.
