Tiffin University (5-2) dropped a hard-fought battle on the road to Wayne State 5-2.

Tiffin dropped the doubles point by falling in two of three matches. Lorenzo Perucchini/Romain Marionneau posted a 6-2 win but Marlon Huber/Harry Senior fell 6-3 and Martin Driesner/Jose Portillo lost a close one 6-4.

In singles, Marionneau gutted out a three-set win 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 while Perucchini got Tiffin's other point with a 7-5, 6-3 score.

Other close losses for TU included Erwan Colin 7-6, 6-4 and Senior 6-3, 6-4.
