Tiffin University (9-16, 4-14 G-MAC) could not win the battle in the post, falling to Thomas More on Senior Day 71-48.
The Saints held a 48-32 edge in rebounding and outscored TU inside 32-22. Combined with outshooting the Dragons 41 percent to 28 percent, the decision went in the visitor's favor.
The Saints took the opening quarter 19-13 and then held Tiffin to just one field goal made in the second quarter as they eventually built a 30-20 halftime lead.
A 22-15 run in the third quarter kept the Saints in firm control, and the Dragons could not cut the deficit to single digits throughout the remainder of the game.
Isabelle Niederst led the Dragons with 13 points while
Megan Campbell had 9 points and 10 rebounds.Â
