Tiffin University (0-1) put up a tough fight but two second-half goals cost the Dragons, as 2nd-ranked Charleston won 2-0.
Tiffin battled Charleston through a scoreless first half, with the Eagles holding a 7-2 shot edge.Â
Charleston got on the board in the 49th minute on a goal by Allan Logrillo and added an insurance goal in the 87th minute by Martin Echarren.
Overall Tiffin was outshot 14-5, putting one shot on goal in each half. The Eagles also held a 9-3 edge in corner kicks.
Nick Cherry took the loss in goal, making 4 saves and allowing both goals over 90 minutes.
