Tiffin University (3-2-1, 2-1 G-MAC) suffered a setback in a conference road trip to Walsh, falling 1-0.
Both teams turned up the defense, as they tied in first-half shots 3-3. Walsh got the lone goal of the game in the 36th minute when Gabe Anderson scored to give Walsh the 1-0 lead at halftime.
Tiffin outshot Walsh 6-4 in the second half and led overall 9-7 in total shots but could only put 2 of those shots on goal for the game. The Dragons had one shot on goal in each half.
Nick Cherry took the loss in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
