Ciara Riner won the 60kg Senior Beach National Championship on May 10 in Carolina Beach, North Carolina.

Riner, a Senior Beach World Team Member, won the title competing at the highest level. She also took second in the u20 Division 60kg Beach National Championship.

Riner was unstoppable in the Senior division. In the finals at 60 kg, Riner won both matches by forfeit. In the u20 Division, Riner went 3-1, winning two matches by fall.

This marked the 20th anniversary of the Beach National Championships. A beach wrestling match is three minutes long, but ends when one athlete scores three points.

The U.S. Senior Nationals is a qualifying event for the U.S. teams at the 2025 Beach World Series, with champions automatically qualified for any Beach World Series event they wish to enter.
