Tiffin University men's track and field made the trip to southeastern Ohio on Friday for the Cherry Blossom Invitational hosted by Ohio University. Highlighting the Dragons' performance was Trevor Vogt and Tesean Jefferson winning events at the meet.
Jefferson won the 200 meter dash in a time of 23.09 seconds and Vogt won the 110 meter hurdles in a time of 15.16 seconds. Jefferson also placed fourth in the 100 meter dash and Vogt placed fourth in the 400 meter hurdles.
Other notable performances include Kyron Rogers placing third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.11 seconds. Ariel Clark and Brody Devlin finished third and fourth, respectively in the 400 meter dash. Clark crossed the line in 50.59 seconds and Devlin finished in 50.66 seconds.
Talel Khalfi finished fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:54.23. Louis Ginane placed second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:57.54. Pieter Wise placed third in the high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters (6' 2.75").
William Rahm placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 4.55 meters (14' 11"). Thomas Nelson finished second in the hammer throw with a mark of 59.41 meters (194' 11") and Maurice Norvell finished eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.72 meters (140' 2").
Camron Ventura finished second in the javelin throw with a mark of 45.27 meters (148' 6") and Jacob Goudy placed third with a mark of 42.95 meters (140' 11").
