Tiffin University men's track and field completed their final tune up before the G-MAC Outdoor Championships. The Dragons competed at Walsh on Thursday and participated in Ashland's Alumni Open on Friday and Saturday.
Walsh meet highlights:
Kyron Rogers placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.81 seconds and recorded a new personal best time of 10.64 seconds in the 100 meter dash. Brody Devlin placed third in the 400 meter dash with a new personal best time of 49.29 seconds.
Octavious Joe won the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.17 seconds and recorded a new personal best in both the 110 meter hurdles (14.88 seconds) and a new best mark in the long jump (6.75 meters / 22' 1.75").
Pieter Wise claimed first in the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters (6' 4.75"). Myles Sams took first place in the triple jump recording a new personal best mark of 15.28 meters (50' 1.75").
The 4x100 relay team of Kyron Rogers, Myles Sams, Brody Devlin, and Joshua Page took first place with a time of 40.69 seconds. The 4x400 relay team of Page, Devlin, Lewis Cotterill, and Ariel Clark also claimed first with a time of 3:16.17.
Ashland meet highlights:
Ethan Lyon placed first in the shot put with a mark of 15.65 meters (51' 4.25"). Brock Carlson finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 16.05 meters (52' 8").
