Tiffin University baseball (7-7) got solo home runs from Chavis Conceicao and Griff Cady, but it wasn't enough as the Dragons lost their fourth straight, falling 5-3 to Barry University on Saturday morning. 

Tiffin once again scored first as a walk by Andrew Fairbrother started a two-out rally. Fairbrother then came around to score on an RBI double by Brayden Clark.  

Zach Johnson was unable to provide a shutdown inning in Barry's home half of the first. Two walks, a wild pitch, and an error by Luke Westerman gave Barry three runs in the first for a 3-1 lead. 

Both teams scored one run in the second inning with the Dragons' run coming on a home run by Conceicao. Barry maintained their two-run lead through two innings. 

Barry added one run in the seventh and Cady responded with a solo home run in the eighth inning. Julian Hernandez followed Cady's home run with a double but the Dragons were unable to add any more runs for the remainder of the game.  

The Dragons got a one-out single by Aidan Grabowski in the ninth but he was stranded at first.  

Zach Johnson (1-2) started and took the loss, pitching 3.0 innings and allowing four runs (one earned) with four walks and three strikeouts. Keegan Phillips pitched 2.0 scoreless innings and walked three. Nick Feasel pitched the final 3.0 innings and allowed one run on three hits with two strikeouts.  

Westerman had two hits to lead the way offensively while Grabowski, Clark, Cady, Hernandez, Hilario DeLaPaz, and Conceicao had one hit each.
