Tiffin University men's track and field, ranked 20th in the country, secured their second consecutive G-MAC Indoor Championship.
The Dragons erupted for 117 points on day two for a total of 162 points to secure the title after finishing day one in third place. Ashland was second with 152 points followed by Findlay in third with 134.5 points.
Talel Khalfi, who claimed the 5000 meter run title on Friday, also secured the mile title and 3000 meter run title on Saturday to earn three first-place champion medals. He was also named the Men's Track Athlete of the Meet.
Joshua Page claimed two titles, winning both the 200 meter dash and 400 meter dash. In the 200, he crossed the finish line in 20.93 seconds and finished the 400 in 46.61 seconds.
Myles Sams was the triple jump champion with a mark of 15.21 meters (49' 11").
Earning First Team All-Conference honors were Khalfi, Sams, and Page for their performances.
Earning Second Team All-Conference recognition were Davis Reinhard for his performance in the heptathlon and Kevin Hornbeak in the shot put.
Reinhard placed second in the heptathlon, accumulating 5080 points to earn eight team points. Hornbeak finished second in the shot put with a mark of 17.58 meters (57' 8.25") to also earn eight team points.
Other notable performances:
Octavious Joe – fifth place in the 60 meter hurdles (8.29 seconds for four team points)
Dylan Randall – fifth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.91 seconds to earn four team points
Kameron Walker – fifth place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.85 seconds to earn four team points
The 4x400 relay team of Ariel Clark, Page, Walker, and Brody Devlin placed third with a time of 3:14.06.
Brock Carlson and Ethan Lyon placed fifth and sixth, respectively in the shot put
