#12 Tiffin University STUNT (2-3) competed at the Walsh tournament over the weekend in North Canton and went 1-2 with all three games coming against ranked opponents.
Game 1 vs. #5 Mercyhurst (L, 14-8)
The Dragons fell behind early, were held scoreless in the opening quarter and trailed 7-1 halfway through. Despite a strong fourth quarter by the Dragons scoring a game-high five points, Mercyhurst also scored five points to secure the win.
The highest rated players in the game were Kaiah Hicks, Karli Liming, and Natalie Viggiano.
Game 2 vs. #3 Muskingum (W, 12-5)
With the game tied at two, the Dragons posted a dominating second half outscoring Muskingum 10-3 including 7-2 in the final quarter to pull away and secure the victory.
The highest rated players in the game were Kaiah Hicks, Karli Liming, and Rajah Little.
Game 3 vs. #9 Trevevcca Nazarene (L, 14-6)
A scoreless second quarter hurt the Dragons in this one as the Trojans led 6-1 at the halfway point. The two teams were even in the third period, scoring three points each but the Trojans pulled away in the fourth with a 5-2 advantage.
The highest rated players were Hicks, Liming, and Viggiano.
