Tiffin University STUNT (13-12) dropped their opening game in Nashville at the National Championships, falling to sixth-seeded Concordia University Irvine 19-8.
The Dragons got off to a slow start and trailed 4-1 after the first and entered halftime trailing 8-1.
The second half was much more competitive with the Golden Eagles outscoring the Dragons 5-4 in the third and 6-3 in the fourth.
The Dragons return to action tomorrow morning at 11:15am ET (10:15am CT) looking to keep their season alive against the loser of Oklahoma Baptist and Trevecca Nazarene game which is scheduled to be played later Thursday afternoon.
