Tiffin University (3-6) won a pair of matches on the road, defeating Illinois-Springfield 5-1 before dropping McKendree in a narrow 4-3 victory.

Against UIS, Martin Driesner/Romain Marionneau (6-1) and Matthew Weaver/Lorenzo Perucchini (6-3) got Tiffin the early doubles point.

Driesner got another point for the Dragons with a big three-set victory in singles play 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. 

TU also got singles wins from Marionneau 6-2, 6-3, Jose Portillo 6-1, 6-1, and Perucchini 7-5, 6-0.

Against McKendree, the match came down to an epic three-set comeback win by Janis Auslands in singles. Auslands won 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-4.

Trailing 1-0 after doubles play, TU also got match-winning points from Driesner 6-3, 6-3, Portillo 6-3, 6-4, and Romain Nicolas 7-6, 6-4.
