Tiffin University's
Ramon Rodriguez won the Midwest Championship, leading the Dragons to a 4th-place finish.
Rodriguez's time of 30:17.27 is the fourth-fastest time in TU history and a personal best for Rodriguez. He becomes only the second TU runner to win a regional championship, joing James Ngandu who won back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017.
The 4th-place finish is also the best regional showing in school history, topping the 8th-place mark TU hit in 2010.
Grand Valley State won the race with 44 points followed by Saginaw Valley State with 52 and Lewis with 120. Tiffin totaled 177, ahead of Walsh's 207. Tiffin had the best finish of any G-MAC school.
Louis Ginane also had a great day, finishing 6th in 30:37.13.
Isaac Houghton was 28th, finishing in 31:32.60, while
Gabe Douce was 59th (32:15.60) and
Ashton Vent was 83rd (32:40.94).
