Dragons finish 26th in national rankings

Tiffin University's men's cross country team finished the 2025 season ranked 26th in NCAA Division II by the USTFCCCA.

The ranking equals the highest ranking ever for a Tiffin men's cross country squad and is the highest ranking since 2010.

Tiffin University's Ramon Rodriguez won the Midwest Championship, leading the Dragons to a 4th-place finish.

Rodriguez's time of 30:17.27 is the fourth-fastest time in TU history and a personal best for Rodriguez. He becomes only the second TU runner to win a regional championship, joining James Ngandu who won back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017.

The 4th-place finish is also the best regional showing in school history, topping the 8th-place mark TU hit in 2010.

Rodriguez and Louis Ginane, who finished 6th at the Midwest Regional, will be competing at the NCAA National Championships Nov. 22.
