Ramon Rodriguez and
Louis Ginane have been named USTFCCCA All Region performers.
Athletes earned the distinction of All-Region by virtue of a top-25 finish at one of the eight regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Tiffin University'sÂ
Ramon Rodriguez won the Midwest Championship, leading the Dragons to a 4th-place finish.
Rodriguez's time of 30:17.27 is the fourth-fastest time in TU history and a personal best for Rodriguez. He becomes only the second TU runner to win a regional championship, joing James Ngandu who won back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017.
The 4th-place finish is also the best regional showing in school history, topping the 8th-place mark TU hit in 2010.
Louis Ginane also had a great day, finishing 6th in 30:37.13.Â
