With the score tied 2-2,
Kristopher McDonald took a cross from
Griffin Cook and headed the ball into the top left corner of the net past the diving goalkeeper for the win in the 89th minute.
The game was a hardfought victory for the Dragons, who opened with a 2-0 lead before the Timberwolves crept back to tie.
Anelson Azard scored in the 22nd minute to open scoring off a pass from
Edward Peralta.
The Dragons made it 2-0 when
Tate Newman converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute.
Northwood got a goal in the 42nd minute to make it 2-1 at halftime.
The Timberwolves equalized in the 54th minute when Oliver Jarvis drove home a Northwood penalty kick.
Overall TU held a commanding 17-6 shot advantage along with a 9-4 mark in corner kicks. Tiffin also allowed 3 total shots on goal.
