Tiffin University's men's cross country team has risen to 6th in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region poll.
The ranking marks the highest regional ranking for the Dragons in 15 years and is a leap of three spots from last week's 9th-place mark.
Grand Valley State is the top-ranked team in the region followed by Saginaw Valley State and Lewis. G-MAC rivals Walsh (4th) and Ashland (5th) are just ahead of Tiffin in the poll, while Hillsdale also landed at 8th.
Tiffin opened its season with a win at the Tiffelberg Open and subsequently finished 10th at the Lucian Rosa Invitational and 12th at the Lewis Invitational. They will next compete at the G-MAC Championships on Oct. 25.
