Tiffin University's men's cross country team tied their highest placement ever at the G-MAC Championships, taking third place overall of 11 teams.
Walsh took the title with 57 points while Ashland narrowly edged Tiffin 72-73. The third-place mark for Tiffin equals its highest finish ever (2021).
Ramon Rodriguez took first overall in 24:07.7, earned G-MAC Runner of the Year honors. He becomes the first TU runner to win a G-MAC title. James Ngandu won three consecutive GLIAC titles from 2015-17.
Louis Ginane was right behind in second place in 24:10.3, while
Isaac Houghton finished 10th in 24:39.6 as both he, Ginane, and Rodriguez landed First Team All G-MAC honors.
Landing Second Team G-MAC laurels was
Gabe Douce. Douce was 16th in 24:53.4. Tiffin's four All G-MAC honorees marked the most all conference honors ever for a TU men's cross country team.
Other top finishers included
Ashton Vent (46th in 25:33.0),
Evan Halbe (53rd in 25:50.0),
Joey Clabaugh (57th in 25:52.8),
Connor Tighe (82nd in 26:22.5),
Kade Sutherland (92nd in 26:35.4), and Nico Colosimo (114th in 27:27.8). All of these times were personal bests.
