Tiffin University (6-9, 1-6 G-MAC) got off to a slow start against Northwood and was unable to catch up, falling 69-48.

The Dragons opened with 16 percent field goal shooting, while the Timberwolves came out hot, firing at a 53 percent clip while taking the first quarter 20-4.

Tiffin shot slightly better in the second quarter but Northwood remained hot, connecting at a 57 percent mark including a 7 for 12 effort from three point as it outscored the Dragons 21-15 in the second quarter. Overall Northwood led at the half 41-19.

TU needed a hot start in the second half to get back in the game but the Dragons managed just 4 for 15 shooting in the third quarter to trail 58-29 heading to the fourth quarter.

Tiffin turned the ball over just 12 times overall but Northwood capitalized by scoring 23 points off turnovers. They also controlled the paint, outrebounding TU 47-25. Northwood also finished shooting 45 percent (11 of 24) from three-point.

Lyv Lindeman was the lone TU player in double figures, finishing with 10 points. Tomi Hinkle had 9 points while Isabelle Niederst had 8 points.
