The Dragons (6-8, 4-2 G-MAC) were heavily outshot, 40-13, in a game where Walsh's offensive prowess took over in an 18-4 defeat for Tiffin.
It took just over a minute for the Cavaliers to get themselves on the board and followed it up with two more to take an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter.
Caylin Kunze netted a man-up goal to cut the deficit to 3-1, however, Walsh tallied two more before a second from Kunze made it 5-2 with just under four and a half minutes to go.
Tiffin was held scoreless in the second quarter as the hometown Cavaliers posted seven goals, extending their lead to 13-2 by halftime.
The Dragons held Walsh to five second-half goals but only managed to net once in each of the final two quarters as
Brenna Bohan scored late in the third followed by a fourth and final goal from
Ashley Spangler, her third of the season.
Guinevere Salas posted a team-high four ground balls while Kunze and
Jenay Rennie each tallied two.
Meagan Hilleary and
Jessa Zaheri both recorded a caused turnover each. Rennie and
Sadie Wermuth split the game 30 minutes each in the cage with Rennie recording nine saves while Wermuth finished with five.
TU will now return home for its regular-season finale against Findlay on Wednesday, April 17 at 1 p.m.
