The Dragons (18-12, 11-9 G-MAC) were unable to stop a late push from Thomas More in the final seconds of the game, suffering a heartbreaking defeat in the semifinal of the G-MAC tournament 63-62.

It was a competitive start to the game as both sides traded baskets, resulting in seven lead changes over the course of the first half. TU shot a very solid 52.0 percent in the first half while limiting the Saints to just 33.3 percent, enabling them to gain a six-point advantage at the break.

After holding a 30-24 lead, the Dragons opened the second half well. They steadily increased their advantage to as many as nine points and held it throughout the majority of the half. That is, until Thomas More rattled off an 11-2 run to level the score at 52 with five and a half minutes to go.

The Saints led 58-54 before six-straight points by
Wesley Jordan cut the deficit to just one at 61-60. Jordan went on to make it eight-straight with a step-back jumper to give Tiffin the lead with 30 seconds remaining.

With five seconds left, the Saints scored the go-ahead basket, and the Dragons were unable to get a shot off in the remaining time.

Jordan finished with a team-high 29 points, adding four rebounds and a block. He was followed by
Morgan Taylor with 14 on the night and contributing four assists as well.
Joshua Rivers collected nine boards and finished with eight points to go with it.

Tiffin's season comes to an end with an overall record of 18-12, the most wins in a single season and the first conference semifinal appearance in 25 years.
