The Dragons (6-8, 4-4 G-MAC) fell to Hiram 15-6 before defeating Malone 18-2 to advance to round three for a rematch with the Terriers.
 
Tiffin kicked off the conference championship with a matchup against Hiram in which it scored most of its points in the second half but ultimately came up short. Four Dragons reached a rating of 13 including Kaiah Hicks, Karli Liming, Madisyn Cook, and Riane Todd.
 
Malone's loss to Ashland set up the round two matchup between the Pioneers and Dragons. Tiffin bounced back well, scoring points in all but three rounds including tallying three of a possible three in two of the four rounds of the fourth quarter.
 
Leading the way for TU was Hicks and Liming, reaching a rating of 40 for the game. They were followed closely by Cook with 39, Todd with 38, and Brianna Richards with 35.
 
As the tournament is double elimination, the Dragons have advanced to a round three rematch with Hiram that will begin at 5 p.m. tomorrow, March 29. The winner will advance to the next round to face off with Ashland at 7:30 p.m.
