There can be only one.
Unless you are
Zack Donathan.
For the first time in Tiffin University men's wrestling history, a wrestler has won two NCAA Division II National Championships. Donathan completed his epic journey, defending his 141-pound title from 2023 with another thrilling championship on the national stage, this time at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.
Donathan reached the title bout with a narrow 9-5 decision over Ronan Schuelke of McKendree. He then won the championship over Nick James of Nebraska-Kearney by major decision 13-3. Donathan maintained a narrow lead from the outset but exploded with six points in the final 30 seconds to finish strong.
Donathan finished the season 25-0 and lived up to his billing as the top-ranked 141-pounder in the nation. In his two season with the Dragons, he has posted a 39-1 record.
Donathan also now joins Garrett Gray, Jake Cramer, Nick Mason, and Mike Screptock as two-time NCAA All-Americans.
