Tiffin University (3-1) picked up a big regional win, knocking off 7th-ranked Grand Valley State 5-2.

The Dragons got the doubles point by pulling out a tough 7-6 win from Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford. Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver also got a 6-2 win while Martin Driesner/Cyrille Colomb fell in another close match 7-5.

Fonga and Colomb both won in straight sets, with Fonga posting a 6-1, 6-3 win and Colomb a 6-3, 6-2 score. Telford and Max Navrotchi also both won come-from-behind three-set matches. Telford came back to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 while Navrotchi won 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.

Gurtner also dropped a tough three-set match 6-7, 7-6, 6-2.
