Tiffin University (4-18, 2-12 G-MAC) gave up 48 points from three-point territory, as Thomas More hit 16 triples to beat TU 82-65.
The long range shooting was the only major difference between the two teams, as the Saints hit 16 treys to Tiffin's 8. They shot 50 percent from three-point.
The Dragons came out of the gate slow, shooting just 20 percent in the opening quarter as Thomas More raced ahead 21-6. The Dragons were unable to close the gap, trailing 41-24 at halftime.
The Dragons needed a defensive stand in the third quarter to get back into it, but the Saints connected at a 75 percent clip in the period, offsetting Tiffin's 53 percent shooting effort.
The Saints outrebounded TU 34-30 but Tiffin held a 34-18 scoring edge in the paint. Tiffin also got strong play from its bench as they outscored the Saints 28-18.
Kirsten Williams had another strong game, scoring 21 points with 6 rebounds, but was the lone player in double figures.
Grace Craig had 8 points and 6 rebounds, while
Pistol Brinson had 7 points.
Savanah Richards and
Tomi Hinkle had 6 points each.
