Tiffin University (7-3) turned up the offense on the final day of the Blue Bridge Battle, defeating Ferris State 10-7 in Evansville, Indiana.

Claire Feldkamp started and pitched the first three innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits with 3 strikeouts and a walk. Jules King then relieved and closed out the game for the win to improve to 4-0 on the season. She pitched 4 innings and allowed 2 earned runs with 8 strikeouts and a walk along with 4 hits.

Tiffin had trailed 2-0 entering the third inning but then erupted to score 9 runs between the third and fifth innings.

In the third, Baylee Mirgon singled and stole second. After King walked, Maci Head doubled to right field for two runs to tie the game. Molly Koesters then singled her home as TU took the lead 3-2.

In the fourth inning trailing 4-3, Tiffin got four more runs. Aubrie Harper doubled to right. Tara Gall then singled, and Harper subsequently scored on an error at shortstop on a ball hit by Mirgon. A double by King down the right field line drove in two more runs. After King stole third, she came home on a wild pitch to put TU ahead 7-4.

In the fifth, Koesters tripled to left field. Maddie Woods then singled her home and advanced to third on an error by the left fielder. Harper then singled to drive Woods home.

TU got its final run in the 7th inning. Woods singled and stole second. She then scored on a double by Gall to center field.

Overall Gall had 3 hits while Koesters, Woods, and Harper had 2 hits each. King, Head, Harper, and Gall had doubles while Koesters also had a triple.
