Tiffin University (11-1, 1-0 G-MAC) opened its conference season with a 5-0 shutout of Northwood.

Tiffin picked up a quick point by sweeping the doubles matches. Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford picked up a 6-2 victory, Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver also won 6-2, and Gabriel de Oliveira/Matt Saunders won 6-3.

The Dragons won their first four singles matches to finish their scoring. Fonga won 7-5, 6-2, Telford picked up a 6-1, 6-3 victory, Weaver battled to a 7-5, 6-1 win, and Navrotchi had the toughest match of the day, winning 4-6, 7-6, 12-10.
