Tiffin University competed in the final day of the Soldier Salute Open in Coralville, Iowa.

Jenavi Alejandro (109 pounds) won her semifinal bout by fall in 3:29 over Life, advancing to the title match against Iowa. She then fell by injury default. for second place.

Juliana Aleandro (101) lost 2-1 to Iowa in her semifinal match, then bounced back to beat Life 14-7. In the battle for third place, she lost via pin to Indiana Tech in 2:15.

Tatiana Bermudez (136) lost to Iowa by fall in 1:02, but then won her third-place match 10-0 over William Penn.

Tiffin now competes at the NWCA National Duals Jan. 5-6 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
