Esports upgrades computer systems

The Tiffin University Esports program has obtained brand new state of the art computer equipment in the esports facility that allows players to receive a significant enhancement to their competitive experience.

Compared to the old computer systems, the team now has Full HD (1920 x 1080) 280Hz Gaming Monitors as well as AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7GHz Processor; Microsoft Windows 11 Pro; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB GDDR6X; G.SKill 32GB DDR5-5200 RAM computers that will give players a faster frame rate, processor and overall performance,  allowing players to compete at the highest level with no competitive disadvantage.

TU Esports has also upgraded the internet, as well as added several new computer stations, allowing for up to 20 players to compete and play simultaneously. With these new upgrades to the Esports arena, the team has equipment that rivals the top programs in Ohio, technologically speaking. With all of these new additions and upgrades, these computers will run about 30-60 times faster than the previous models.
