The Tiffin University women's basketball team (4-8, 1-4 GMAC) fell to Northwood 88-53.

The Timberwolves outscored Tiffin 26-9 in the first quarter.

The Dragons responded with a 14-6 run to cut the lead down to 32-21 with 6:37 left in the second quarter. In the second quarter, TU outscored Northwood 20-17 to cut the host lead down to 43-29.

Northwood came out of the break strong, outscoring the Dragons 27-8 in the third quarter to take a 70-37 lead.

TU kept pace with the Timberwolves in the fourth quarter to win 88-53.

Savanah Richards led the team with 12 points shooting 5-for-9 from the field with eight rebounds and Kirsten Williams scored 10 points shooting 3-for-8, with three rebounds, two assists, and one block.
