HILTON HEAD, S.C. - It was evenly matched across the board, but Tiffin men's tennis could not quite pull out the victory over Barton College on Friday, falling 4-3 to wrap up the Spring Break trip.

The Dragons and Bulldogs split the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, with Austin Mohamedali and Hugo Chatras claiming a 6-4 victory in the third spot. The No. 2 doubles pairing came right down to the wire, but Gabriel Belli de Oliveira and Tom Arias were edged out 7-6 as Barton took the doubles point.

Sorin Navrotchi (No. 3, 6-2, 6-3) and Tom Arias (No. 5, 6-2, 6-3) picked up victories in straight sets to begin singles action for TU. 

Toby Cutting came from behind at No. 4 singles for an exciting 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 win for Tiffin's third point.

However, Tiffin and Barton split the singles matches and the Bulldogs took the 4-3 victory.

The Dragons now return home to host Ashland next Saturday.
