Tiffin University (2-2) opened with strong doubles play and carried four of the six singles matches in dispatching Findlay 7-2.

Luis Ludena/Elio Lezama Perez and Tom Arias/Sorin Navrotchi both got the breaks they needed to post identical 6-4 victories, while Nikita Parfenov/Toby Cutting cruised to a 6-2 win to give the Dragons a 3-0 lead heading to singles play.

Cutting had the day's toughest singles bout, droppping the first set 2-6 before bouncing back to win set two 6-0 and the match in the third set 10-6. Ludena posted a 6-4, 6-4 win, while Arias also won 7-6, 6-3. Navrotchi gave TU another win 6-1, 6-1.

Parfenov fell 7-6, 6-0 while TU's other defeat came from Perez 6-4, 6-3.
