Tiffin University (1-1) could not come back from early doubles losses, falling short at Walsh 6-3.

The Dragons dropped all three doubles matches to fall behind 3-0 early. Luis Ludena/Elio Lezama Perez fell by a narrow 8-6 margin, while Justin Kopronica/Hugo Chatras fell 8-4. Tom Arias/Sorin Navrotchi also fell 8-3 as the Dragons headed to singles play.

TU posted three singles wins. Arias won 6-3, 6-2, while Navrotchi also won in straight sets 6-2, 6-4. Lezama posted a strong 6-3, 6-1 victory as well but it was the only matches TU would win on the day.

TU's other singles losses were all three set defeats. Ludena fell 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, Hugo Chatras lost 3-6, 7-5, 6-4, and Justin Kopronica came up short 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.
