Tiffin University (15-4, 6-1 GLIAC) dropped a number of tough three set matches but did just enough to pull out a narrow 5-4 win over visiting Hillsdale 5-4.

TU benefited from three doubles match victories. Luis Ludena/Toby Cutting posted a close 8-5 win, while Elio Lezama Perez/Agustin Mangone shut out their opponent 8-0. Andrew Isaac/Sorin Navrotchi pulled out the day's closest match with a 9-8 win.

Ludena easily won his singles match 6-3, 6-1 but then things started to turn as the Dragons dropped three 3-set matches.

Mangone fell 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, Cutting lost 6-2, 5-7, 7-6, and Lezama fell 1-6, 6-1, 6-1. Andrew Isaac also lost 6-3, 6-1, but TU got its fifth point with a win at sixth singles by Navrotchi 6-4, 6-3.
