The Dragons had to play from behind again in the second set, seeing their deficit rise to as much as eight points. Tiffin was able to narrow the gap to four points, but it was too little too late as they fell 25-18.

In the final set, Tiffin took an early lead, but were unable to hold it as the Huskies drew even at 10-10. Michigan Tech then used an 8-1 run to hold an 18-11 lead. Tiffin clawed to within three points at 18-15, but the Huskies rolled to a 25-16 set win thanks to a 7-1 run to close out the contest.
