Box Score $website.include("options")

The Tiffin University women's basketball team fell at home on Thursday night to the Northwood University Timberwolves by the final count of 63-54.

The Dragons played hard in the 1st quarter, keeping the contest close as they trailed by only three at the end of the quarter. After a quarter of play, the Dragons were shooting 47% from the floor, but had already committed eight turnovers. The scoring picked up in the 2nd quarter, as the Timberwolves hit at 41% from the floor, and their defense stifled the Tiffin offense as the Dragons shot only 32% from the floor, but still managed to score 18 points.

Early in the 3rd quarter, it looked as if the Timberwolves were about to run away with the game, building their lead to 11 points. But the Dragons trimmed the lead to six before Northwood was able to boost the lead back to nine points at the end of the quarter. In the final quarter of the contest, the Dragons' offense came to life, as they were able to cut their deficit to two points before timely free throw shooting put the game away for the Timberwolves.

The Dragons were led in scoring by Jordan Fraley with 16 points. Bre Nauman chipped in with 9 points and 8 rebounds, Kiley May came off the bench to score 9 points, and Jessica Farr added 9 points and six boards off the bench as well.

The loss drops the Dragons to 2-10 overall and 0-7 in GLIAC play.
