An overpowering third quarter by Notre Dame was too much for Tiffin University (0-2) to overcome, as the Falcons raced past TU 92-69.
With the Dragons trailing just 32-30 at the 6:25 mark of the second quarter, the Falcons put together a 19-11 run that pushed their halftime lead to 51-41. They wasted little time grabbing the momentum in the second half, as they outscored TU 27-8 in the quarter to effectively put the game away.
The Falcons were red hot from the floor, shooting 61 percent to TU's 44 percent. They also hit on 12 of 21 three point attempts and outscored the Dragons at the line 15-0. Notre Dame was also strong inside, outrebounding TU 36-28.
Kaylee Patton led TU with 13 points, while Alison Schirmer had 11 points. Bre Nauman added 10 points with 6 rebounds while Trischa Lacy and Jordan Fraley had 8 points each. Anya Misko tallied 6 points with 7 rebounds.
