The Tiffin University volleyball team honored their two seniors prior to the game, and led Malone 2-0, but where everything was going right, it suddenly all went wrong as Malone won the final three sets to win the match 3-2.

The Dragons took care of business in set one, winning 25-18 with a .216 hitting percentage. Malone struggled in the set, committing six attack errors while converting only seven kills.

Set two was more of the same, as the Dragons improved their hitting, bumping their hitting percentage 24 points, and committed only five errors. On the other hand, Malone improved even more than the Dragons did, but Tiffin held serve and took a 2-0 lead with a 25-21 win.

With Tiffin out in front, it looked as if the Dragons would coast to a victory, but Malone found life, winning 25-19. The Pioneers bolstered their attack, clobbering 14 kills while hitting at a .306 mark. Tiffin began their free fall with eight attack errors in the set and a .184 hitting percentage.

Malone smacked 18 kills en route to a 25-23 set four win, and then Malone landed the knockout punch, winning set five 15-12. Malone struggled in the set, hitting at only a .143 clip, but the Dragons couldn't have picked a worse time to chalk up their worst set of the night, hitting at only a .059 mark with four kills.

As a unit, the Dragons committed 29 attack errors, five service errors, and finished with a hitting percentage of .199. Senior Jillian Campbell not only had her best game of the season, but it was statistically the best game of her Dragon career. Campbell finished with 16 kills and a .353 hitting percentage. Olivia Cobb and Kasey Adelsperger each finished with 11 kills, and Amanda Curry added 10 kills.

The Dragons fall to 10-18 overall and 5-12 in GLIAC play. Tiffin will wrap up the 2015-16 season tomorrow, hosting the Walsh University Cavaliers at 2:00 p.m.
