The Tiffin University Dragons women's basketball team, (4-10, GLIAC 3-5) played one of their stronger games this season on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons used a strong inside presence and bench points to sink the Lake Superior State University Lakers.

The Dragons led from the tip as they fed the post on almost every possession. On the defensive side of the ball, the Dragons held the Lakers to only 24 points in the first half. Deidre McKay led the Dragons at the half with 8 points, Jessica Farr pitched in 7 points off the bench, and Jordan Fraley added 7 points as well. The inside play of the Dragons was evident on the halftime stat sheet as the Dragons held a 23-14 advantage in rebounding.

The second half saw more of the same, but with one exception. Kiley May started the second half due to Kaylee Patton's foul trouble. May would pay dividends for Coach Oswald. The Dragons were able to push the second half lead to 15 before the Lakers made their run. That run would cut the Dragon lead to 7, but Kiley May would line up a corner three to push the lead back to 10. May would again strike with the Dragons in desperate need of a bucket, Kiley knocked another three home for her squad. The bench would score 19 of the Dragons' 72 points. Deidre McKay finished the game with 19 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds, Anya Misko continued her stellar play, as she scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Bre Nauman recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Kiley May would finish with 10 points, 3 assists, and added 2 boards.
