Tiffin University (13-9, 6-3 GLIAC) used its depth in singles play to comeback from a 2-1 deficit and pull out a narrow 5-4 win at Walsh.
Agustin Mangone/Robbie Ball pulled out a close 8-6 win but Kyle Johnson/Nicholas Almeida (8-5) and Ben Fievet/Jordon Simon-Chopard (8-6) fell in two slim decisions.
Five of the six singles matches went three sets. Fievet fell 1-6, 7-6, 7-5, but the Dragons won the other four three-setters. Ball won 6-4, 1-6, 6-3, Mangone won 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, Simon-Chopard eked by 4-6, 6-2, 7-6, and Almeida won 5-7, 6-0, 6-3. Johnson fell in his match 6-3, 6-1.
