Tiffin University (7-4) took on 8th-ranked Case Western Reserve in their sping opener at Hilton Head, South Carolina, falling 9-0.

The Dragons' closest match of the day came at third doubles, where Ben Fievet/Jordon Simon-Chopard fell 8-5. Kyle Johnson/Nicholasa Almeida fell 8-2 and Robbie Ball/Agustin Mangone lost 8-3.

All of TU's singles matches were straight set losses, with Mangone putting up the toughest fight in a 6-3, 6-4 loss. Ball and Simon-Chopard lost by 6-0, 6-0 scores, while Johnson lost 6-0, 6-2. Almeida fell 6-1, 6-1 and Victor Fernandes lost 6-2, 6-1.
