Tiffin University (1-7) led most of the statistical categories and held the halftime lead but could not come back from a second half run by Roberts Wesleyan, falling 11-8 on the road.

Tiffin played strong defense in the first half, holding Roberts Wesleyan to just 2 goals in the first 30 minutes. They led 4-2 at the break.

RWC turned it around after halftime, though, scoring 7 of the first 8 goals of the half in jumping out to a 9-5 lead with 15:00 remaining. Tiffin had numerous scoring opportunities, outshooting RWC 27-23 and holding a 24-19 ground ball advantage, but the Dragons could pull no closer than 3 goals the rest of the way.

Tiffin, which had just 13 turnovers in the game, was led by Tori Nelson with 3 goals. Emily Roussel had a good all around game, scoring 2 goals with an assist, 7 ground balls, and 4 draw controls. Alexis MacMillan also had 2 goals, while Gina Abulone also added a goal.
