A rough second half was too much for Tiffin University (7-13, 4-12 GLIAC) to overcome, as they fell at Findlay 81-59.
Findlay opened strong, amassing a 21-10 lead at the 9:06 mark before Tiffin responded with a 10-0 run that pulled them back to within a point.
TU, which trailed just 36-30 at the half, could not put a quality 40 minutes together, though, as the Oilers opened with a 27-17 run over the first 10 minutes of the second half to effectively put the game away. Overall Findlay outscored the Dragons 45-29 in the second half.
Tiffin's 25 turnovers were critical, leading to a 22-9 edge in points off turnovers for the Oilers. Tiffin held an 18-8 advantage at the free throw line, but could not overcome a 52-38 percent field goal deficiency.
Jillian Adams led the Dragons with 11 points and 4 rebounds, while Karli Mast was the only other player in double digits with 10. Jessica Farr had 8 points, Anya Misko had 7 points with 6 rebounds, and Bre Nauman had 5 points and 5 rebounds.
