Tiffin University (6-3, 2-0 GLIAC) used strong singles play to dispatch Grand Valley State, winning five of the six matches.
Trailing 2-1 after close doubles play, the Dragons got three straight set victories in singles. Ben Fievet won 6-3, 6-3 while Robbie Ball won 6-1, 6-1. Agustin Mangone also won 6-3, 6-3.
Tiffin got hard fought wins at fifth and sixth singles. Jordan Simon-Chopard won 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in come from behind fashion, while Nicholas Almeida picked up a wild 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 win.
Fievet/Simon-Chopard won 8-3 in doubles play, while TU's two doubles losses were very close. Kyle Johnson/Almeida fell 8-5 and Ball/Mangone lost 8-6.
